1. كثيرة هي بلايا الصّدّيق ومن جميعها ينجّيه الرّبّ. المزامير 34: 19
1. Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all. Psalms 34:19
2. أمريض أحد بينكم؟ فليدع شيوخ الكنيسة فيصلّوا عليه ويدهنوه بزيت باسم الرّبّ، وصلاة الإيمان تشفي المريض والرّبّ يقيمه، وإن كان قد فعل خطيّة تغفر له. اعترفوا بعضكم لبعض بالّزلاّت، وصلّوا بعضكم لأجل بعض لكي تشفوا. طلبة البارّ تقتدر كثيرا في فعلها. يعقوب 5: 14, 15, 16
2. Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. James 5:14-16
3. أرسل كلمته فشفاهم ونجّاهم من تهلكاتهم. المزامير 107: 20
3. He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. Psalms 107:20

8. وهو مجروح لأجل معاصينا مسحوق لأجل آثامنا. تأديب سلامنا عليه وبحبره شفينا. – أشعياء 53: 5

9. فقال: «إن كنت تسمع لصوت الرّبّ الهك وتصنع الحقّ في عينيه وتصغى الى وصاياه وتحفظ جميع فرائضه فمرضا ما ممّا وضعته على المصريّين لا اضع عليك. فانّي انا الرّبّ شافيك». لخروج 15: 26
9. If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee. Exodus 15:26

14. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. Mark 16:17-18
15. واصنعوا لأرجلكم مسالك مستقيمة، لكي لا يعتسف الأعرج، بل بالحريّ يشفى. العبرانيين 12: 13
15. And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed. Hebrews 12:13
16. ولئلاّ أرتفع بفرط الإعلانات، أعطيت شوكة في الجسد، ملاك الشّيطان، ليلطمني لئلاّ أرتفع. من جهة هذا تضرّعت إلى الرّبّ ثلاث مرّات أن يفارقني. فقال لي: «تكفيك نعمتي، لأنّ قوّتي في الضّعف تكمل». فبكلّ سرور أفتخر بالحريّ في ضعفاتي، لكي تحلّ عليّ قوّة المسيح. كورنثوس 12: 7, 8, 9
16. And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.
