Prayer for Peace – Lord, Teach Us to Win the Peace!
How much does our country in the Middle East need to pray, especially in countries that are exposed daily to all kinds of murder and crime against human beings and childhood and against all that represent human values such as marginalization, persecution, rape, and destruction?
This bloody conflict taking place in the Arab world necessitates that we all stand and pray in order to win peace, because winning peace is more difficult than winning the war. Continue meditation with music and pictures!
It is hard to be messengers of peace! If I look at the future with hope, the realists will accuse me of idealism, and if I look at reality mired in failure, the delusional will accuse me of defeatism.
Prayer to gain peace
Lord, give me the courage not to accept the gift of prophecy from anyone but You, and to lose among men!
It is hard to be a peaceful teacher!
And how can I make deaf people who live in threat make a voice to push them away from the brink that is likely to engulf humanity?
Give me, O Lord, the power to explain that peace is not as easy as what the heart thinks, but it is easier than what the mind can comprehend!
How hard it is to think that peace is in my hands! Not in the hands of the great powers. Every day, as I live my daily life with others, I choose peace or no peace.
Lord
Enlighten me, so that I may discern the true roots of peace that have been planted in the heart of the man who is reconciled with God! How difficult it is to live the Gospel of peace wherever we are, in the East or the West! And how can I explain in this forest full of savage teeth that the loss of the soul is more dangerous than the loss of the body?
Give me, O Lord, the strength to help all who seek happiness so that they can break the endless cycle of violence!
O Lord, the confusion about peace around me is a cry about the extent of man’s attachment to the wood of peace. To talk about peace is not only to talk about a problem or man but to talk about God, whom Saint Paul described as peace (Eph 2:14).
Lord, teach me to win the peace! Amen.
