Your Word is a Lamp to My Feet and a Light to My Path

In our meditation today, we will focus on our spiritual journey towards the goal, and our goal in what we present in this topic is to elevate the spirit and soar with the wings of the spirit towards the sky. We will talk about how to reach the desired goal and achieve dreams in the midst of darkness.

Your Word is a Lamp for My Steps

I take a verse every day and memorize it and repeat it throughout the day… Wherever I repeat it and repeat it, the more I repeat it, the more I remember the promises of the Lord to me, and I will certainly stick to His words and promises more and more the more I read and repeat them.

So his words become my words, so I live and live in the shadow of his wings. “He who dwells in the shelter of the Highest will rest in the shadow of the Almighty” (Psalm 91). As for Mary, she kept all these words and pondered them in her heart. ‘ (Luke 2:19).

In the course of our lives and our collective and individual reality, we are walking through a pitch-black night. So how do we achieve our desired goal and our happy dream in the midst of darkness?

The March

Follow the march without hesitation or fear! Because it was dark, and the light did not come, and you pass through dark, bad times. However, there is a lot of hope and luminaries in it that are enough for you to see and continue to rise towards the goal.

The vision will be blurred, focus on the road so as not to fall. The important thing is to stay alert! So that you don’t sleep on the way so that the daylight doesn’t come to you while you are still, in your place.

God’s Law

The law of God with His prophets and saints are like lamps that illuminate the path of your life in order to complete the journey, so do not let your conscience sleep and doze, wake it up and hold it accountable constantly.

You should always review and hold yourself accountable. The relationship with God is important to continue on this path. You have to build a personal relationship with God, based on love and trust.

Dialogue with God

Reaching the goal and continuing on the path requires constant and continuous dialogue with God, when you get up from sleep, when you meet with your family to eat, in your work and occupations, when you meet the one you love, always dialogue with the Lord, in your movements and travels and in everything you do.

Let the Lord be present at every step of your life. Sleep does not only symbolize rest, it is also a symbol of death, just as being awake and awake is a symbol of life… So, my brother, be constantly alert so that sleep does not take you away and you lose your goal.

Check Your Conscience

My beloved brother, review your conscience constantly in order to awaken it from its negligence and slumber. Always wake up by daily meditation on the Holy Book. Because the words of God are life, which makes you vigilant and fervent so that you are illumined by reason and conscience and pure of heart, so that you resemble the angels of heaven who watch and sing in the heights before the throne of the Lord.

The Weekly Meeting

Meeting with the congregation on the blessed Sunday is an important station in our spiritual growth. With this meeting, we experience God’s work in the life of each one of us, so we hold each other’s hands and the word of the Lord is the lamp for us so that none of us fall.

Because our march and our goal towards the kingdom of heaven is one, we all have to accompany each other in this march and support each other, to complete the path and reach the desired goal and the happy dream.

Sing in Your Heart Psalm 143

1 O LORD, hear my prayer, listen to my cry for mercy; in your faithfulness and righteousness come to my relief.

2 Do not bring your servant into judgment, for no one living is righteous before you.
3 The enemy pursues me, he crushes me to the ground; he makes me dwell in darkness like those long dead.

4 So my spirit grows faint within me; my heart within me is dismayed.
5 I remember the days long ago; I meditate on all your works and consider what your hands have done.

6 I spread out my hands to you; my soul thirsts for you like a parched land. Selah
7 Answer me quickly, O LORD; my spirit fails. Do not hide your face from me or I will be like those who go down to the pit.

8 Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go. For you, I lift up my soul.

9 Rescue me from my enemies, O LORD, for I hide myself in you.
10 Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground.

11 For your name’s sake, O LORD, preserve my life; in your righteousness, bring me out of trouble.

12 In your unfailing love, silence my enemies; destroy all my foes, for I am your servant.

In your meditation on this psalm, stop at the phrase your heart chanted. Meditate on it quietly, repeat it over and over again, live with it, let it sink into the depths of your self, and help it reach the recesses of darkness in your heart. Then you will touch the truth of the Lord and how sweet his words are, a balm for the heart and a journey to the depths.

Conclusion

At the end of our meditation, we wish you, my beloved brother and sister, to continue advancing your spiritual path towards the desired goal and a happy dream. Grow in the spirit, be strong with the word, awaken your consciences, watch and pray, and light the lamp of faith in your hearts, so that it illuminates the path that leads you to your desire and desired goal.

Do not neglect the words of the Gospel, for it is your nourishment and strength on the way… Finally, we wish you a blessed march and a clear path toward victory and lasting success. Stay safe.
