A Prayer for Daring / Boldness
Fill me with your Holy Spirit, O Lord, and help me that I may keep untarnished the hope of the second advent of Jesus. Persecutions, afflictions, hardships, and disappointments are the textbooks of your schoolroom by the side of your psalms of joy, peace, service, and triumph.
With your commandments for my redemption, you bound your blessings for my glory. Your forgiveness of my sins and your indwelling in me of your Holy Spirit have made me a member of your household.

Grant unto your servant boldness both in prayer and in speech; guide me that I may care to obey you above all the teachings of men and that I may know out of my own experience that there is no other name under heaven that is given among men whereby I must be saved but the blessed Name of Jesus, to whom be glory and dominion forever.
