O Mother of mankind and peoples, we ask you, who knows people’s pain and joy, fears, and hopes, to protect this region with your intercession from all that threatens it of violence, extremism, disturbances, and violations of the dignity of the human person, his rights, his freedom, his safety, and the direction of all his children this East, with its diversity, seeks to be enlightened by the light of the one Creator who wants us to be one human family, whose members are interconnected by the bond of brotherhood, so that everyone works to build a bright future, on the basis of convergence, sharing, love, and justice.
