Saint Charbel Said:
The path of your Calvary is long at this point in the world, and the cross of Christ in the east is on your shoulders. Your enemies are many because they are the enemies of the Cross. You do not make them enemies of God. Speak to them always in the language of the Cross, even if they are your enemies because of it. The coming months and years will be very difficult, hard, bitter, and as heavy as a cross.
Bear it with a deep prayer of faith, the patience of hope, and the love of the cross. Violence will fill the earth, the planet will be wounded by the knives of ignorance and hatred, the people around you will all be reeling under the pain, fear will be on the whole earth like the wind, and sadness will be in the hearts of all human beings.
Ignorant and hateful people will control the fate of their people and lead them to misery and death through blind hatred, which they will call justice, and dark ignorance, which they will call faith. Hatred and ignorance will spread across the globe.
The light of Christ will shine
Abide by faith and love. The face of the earth will change, keep the face of Christ. Borders, groups, and human systems will be erased and written over again, and people will reel under fire and iron. Let your love be boundless, your congregation, the Church, and your system, the Gospel, and be the anchor that guides straying ships in the raging seas, and your hearts are harbors of peace for every lost, homeless, and refugee.
With your prayers, you will shower mercy and sprinkle love on earth. Pray that hardened hearts will be softened, darkened minds will be opened, and calamities and horrors will be eased. Do not be afraid, in the end, the light of Christ will shine, the sign of the cross will shine, and the Church will shine. Prove their faith in Christ and what they fear, and trust in the God of resurrection and life, glory to Him always coming.
