Heart of God – How Long, Lord? Will You Forget Me? Psalm 13
the Psalms is a school in prayer to reach the heart of God! Psalm 13 expresses the spiritual life of man. The Prophet David spoke with the advice of the Holy Spirit, at a time when he felt that the Lord had forgotten him and distanced himself from him, knowing that this prayer comes from the Spirit of God as if God sometimes wants us to hurry to Him and admonish Him to be with Him.
This personal relationship is not separated by barriers or obstructed by fences. He wants our relationship with God to be transparent and honest, even in times of our weakness and weakness. He certainly wants us to address him without fear or panic, even if our speech is reprimanding.
The prophet’s cry stems from strong faith and submission to the Lord and confidence that he will help and strengthen him, so he rushed to him to tell him what he feels of grief. Pain and weakness. Do you feel like David and go through times when you feel that the Lord has forgotten you!? Remember this wonderful psalm, and repeat it in your daily prayers, to obtain consolation from the Lord.

إلى متى يا رب تنساني وتحجب وجهك عني؟
إلى متى تنساني يا رب؟
1 لِكبيرِ المُغَنِّينَ. مزمورٌ لِداوُدَ:
For the director of music. A psalm of David.
1 إلى متى يا ربُّ تنساني وتحجبُ وجهَكَ عنِّي؟
1 How long, Lord? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me?
2 إِلَى مَتَى أَجْعَلُ هُمُومًا فِي نَفْسِي وَحُزْنًا فِي قَلْبِي كُلَّ يَوْمٍ؟ إِلَى مَتَى يَرْتَفِعُ عَدُوِّي عَلَيَّ؟
2 How long must I wrestle with my thoughts and day after day have sorrow in my heart? How long will my enemy triumph over me?
3 انْظُرْ وَاسْتَجِبْ لِي يَا رَبُّ إِلهِي. أَنِرْ عَيْنَيَّ لِئَلاَّ أَنَامَ نَوْمَ الْمَوْتِ،
3 Look on me and answer, Lord my God. Give light to my eyes, or I will sleep in death,
4 لِئَلاَّ يَقُولَ عَدُوِّي: «قَدْ قَوِيتُ عَلَيْهِ». لِئَلاَّ يَهْتِفَ مُضَايِقِيَّ بِأَنِّي تَزَعْزَعْتُ.
4 and my enemy will say, “I have overcome him,” and my foes will rejoice when I fall.
5 أَمَّا أَنَا فَعَلَى رَحْمَتِكَ تَوَكَّلْتُ. يَبْتَهِجُ قَلْبِي بِخَلاَصِكَ.
5 I will sing the Lord’s praise, for he has been good to me.
6 أُغَنِّي لِلرَّبِّ لأَنَّهُ أَحْسَنَ إِلَيَّ.
