Prayer of Repentance and Asking for Mercy from God
The prayer of repentance is a return to the Lord, a go to the One who loved us and gave us life. Do not postpone your repentance and let the chains of sin control your life.
Hurry up to the Lord with sincere and true repentance and ask Him for forgiveness, for He is a tender and merciful God who will rejoice at your return and wear you the garment of salvation.
Every person has sinned and strayed from the path of righteousness at one point or another. It’s easy to get caught up in our own lives and forget to turn to the Lord for repentance and forgiveness. But the prayer of repentance is a powerful tool for returning to God and restoring our relationship with Him.
A Heartfelt Plea for God’s Mercy and Grace
The prayer of repentance is more than just saying we’re sorry. It’s a heartfelt plea for God’s mercy and grace. We must confess our sins, accept responsibility for our mistakes, and ask for forgiveness. We must also be willing to make amends and turn away from our sinful behavior. The prayer of repentance is an act of surrender and submission to our Lord and Savior.
The Lord is always ready to forgive us and to receive us back into His loving embrace. He is a tender and merciful God who rejoices in our return. He will grant us the strength and courage to resist temptation and live according to His will. He will also grant us the garment of salvation and the assurance that our sins are washed away.
Don’t wait any longer to turn to the Lord. Repent now and receive the joy of knowing that your sins are forgiven, and you are restored to a right relationship with God. Take courage and strength in the knowledge that the Lord is ready and willing to embrace you in His loving arms. “For he has clothed me with the garments of salvation” (Isaiah 61:10).
Oh, God! Forgive Me!
Because I cannot lift my eyes to you, because I am ashamed of the multitude of my sins. Oh God, do not count my sins but give me mercy in your kingdom. Oh God, I beseech you and I ask You for my miserable soul and body. Grant me to do your will, and may your mercy guide me.
O Lord God, forgive me my sins and cover my iniquities, deliver me from your wrath and your iniquity. What shall I say when I appear before you, and what shall I say when you judge me? O Jesus Christ, manage me and protect me from the horrors of Satan’s abyss. Put your peace and your holy name upon me, O Lord, who dwells in years, that your mercy may overtake me and cover me.
Do not hand me over to the enemy. I put all my attention on you, O Christ, Son of God, so do not leave me. If I am inclined to evil, do not leave me, nor let me walk according to my evil desires.

O God, the Lover of Mankind

O God, respond to me according to the abundance of your mercy and accept my prayers and supplications in your hands. Save me, that I may not sin against you, and give me a way to do your will. Do not remove your grace, Mona Tbadeny, from your help. Preserve me for you a holy temple.
Cleanse my heart, my tongue, and all my senses
Take away from me the heart of stone, and bestow upon me a contrite heart, that I may supplicate before you.

Make me worthwhile, blessing you at all times until my last breath.
Proved holy words in my heart and my soul.
Save me from all evil traps.
Manage my resume to your liking.
Take pity on me and hear my screams.
Heed my supplication and accepted my prayer.
Do not turn away my prayer from you, nor your mercy from me, so let my prayer enter before you. Listen to my voice and let my cry come to you.
To straighten my prayers in front of you like a good smell of incense between your hands.
Do not judge your servant, as no one will be praised before you.
Yours is the kingdom, the power, and glory forever.
Fill my heart with the knowledge of your will and give me the strength to walk in your paths. Guide me in the way of your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation. Help me to understand your promises and to know the hope that you offer.
Let your favor shine upon me as I continue to serve you. Amen.
