Saint Anthony Prayer for Healing from a Demonic Act
Saint Anthony Prayer for Healing from a Demonic Act
Reflection on the Prayer of Saint Anthony the Great
Amid life, we may sometimes feel weak, as if trapped by feelings of anxiety and fear. But we must remember that the Lord Jesus came to give us life abundantly, as stated in John 10:10: “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” This love illuminates our path in the darkest moments and grants us hope for healing.
When facing challenges or pressures, it is important to turn to prayer. Prayer is not just words we speak; it is a bridge connecting us to God. Through prayer, we can express our weakness and our need for strength, asking the Lord to fill our hearts with peace. Reflect on the intercession of Saint Anthony, who was a symbol of love and faith. When you seek his intercession, you open your heart to receive the graces that can transform your life. Remember, the Lord listens to our prayers, sees us in our weakness, and works in our lives in ways we may not expect.
Therefore, when reciting this prayer, do so with confidence and faith. Feel the power of the Lord Jesus penetrating deep within you, and allow yourself to be healed from all that harms you. Trust that you are not alone, for the Lord walks with you, granting you strength and the ability to face all obstacles.
Continue in prayer, and be assured that healing and freedom await you, if only you open your heart to receive them.
Let Us Pray
O Holy God, healer of souls and bodies, who sent Your beloved Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, to heal every sickness, cure every disease, save humanity from the death of sin, and cast down the great devil and all his wicked angels from the heights of heaven to the depths of the earth.

The Father
Lord, heal Your creation from all suffering of soul and body, and from every evil act. By the grace of Jesus, Your beloved Son, save us and protect us from all afflictions through Your holy cross, and rebuke all unclean spirits so that they may have no part with us. Crush Satan under our feet, that we may be delivered from all forces of visible and invisible enemies, through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God.
With the prayers of our Father Saint Anthony and all Your saints, may we perform good deeds and thank You for the abundance of Your mercy through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your only Son, to whom belongs glory with You and the Holy Spirit forever. Amen.
The Son
O Lord Jesus Christ, Son of the living God, who for our sake and for our salvation became man from the Virgin Mary, and by Your suffering and life-giving death crushed the gates of hell, bound the powers, and strengthened us against the spoils of evil. You, our God and Savior, cast out and diminish every demonic attack from (Your servant/this servant) (insert name) who bears Your cross.
Yes, Lord, You who sent forth the legions of demons and commanded the unclean spirits to depart from the faithful, saying to Your apostles: “I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy” — protect, Lord, (Your servant/this servant) (insert name) from every harm, from the terror of the night, the arrow of the day, from darkness and the demon of midday, so that (Your servant/this servant) (insert name) may pray with Your divine support and with the prayers of Your Mother, the All-Holy Virgin Mary, and our Father Anthony, with the protection of the angelic host, in faith, hope, and love, saying: “The Lord is my helper; I shall not fear what man can do to me.”
For You are my help, my strength, and my defender, so I shall not fear evil. To You belongs glory with Your Son and the Holy Spirit, now and forever. Amen.
The Holy Spirit
O Holy Spirit, Paraclete, proceeding from the Father, worshiped and glorified with the Father and the Son, who appeared above our Lord Jesus Christ as a dove and upon the holy apostles as tongues of fire, come, Lord, and send Your power upon Your servant/this servant, rebuke all unclean spirits, and dissipate all harmful acts, driving away and diminishing from the body and soul of Your creation, the accursed devil, Satan, and all kinds of unclean spirits.
Yes, Lord, we implore You, do not allow them to dominate any part of her body, soul, or spirit, and do not let them destroy anything in her, by the power of the holy cross †, which is with her and preserves her, that she may always remain peaceful everywhere, through the intercession of the Mother of God, our Father Anthony, and all the saints. And glorified be You, O Holy Spirit, with the Father and the Son forever. Amen.
The Father †, the Son †, and the Holy Spirit †
The power of the Almighty Lord the Father †, the Son †, and the Holy Spirit † be with all who carry this prayer, guard them, and deliver them from all harm of soul and body, through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Saint Anthony, and all the saints. Amen †
Let the Lord rise and scatter all His enemies; let those who hate Him flee from His presence, and let them vanish as smoke and wax melts before the fire. So may the hypocrites vanish as smoke and wax melts before the Lord.
Glory be to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit forever. Amen †
O God, who granted Saint Anthony, Your servant, the grace to overcome and trample all demonic powers, grant Your help to this creation, that she may remain pure and safe from all the afflictions of demons, and from every harm of soul and body, through our Lord Jesus Christ, who with You deserves glory and honor, with Your Holy Spirit forever. Amen†. By Elias Boutros, Patriarch of Antioch
